I had a wonderful experience recently at Mario’s! I called to see if I could have an order for approximately 20 people for my son’s 6th birthday and the lady I spoke with Arar was incredibly accommodating. Within 2 hours she had platters of chicken, rice, potatoes, and salad . Everyone enjoyed the food and commented how delicious it was! Thank you to the team at Mario’s for saving my party with amazing food ! Looking forward to another catered event soon at Mario’s!
We just ordered for for 65 people this past Saturday. Everyone said how wonderful the food was. This is our go to place especially when we have a large group to feed.
Food is incredible. Service is incredible. Price is incredible. I have ordered take out from this particular location twice for catering. Everything is fresh and tasty, the portions are huge (they really fill the trays), you get what you pay for. We spent close to 400 for a party of 70-80 people and there was a lot leftover. Placing the order online is easy and efficient. The parking lot in this strip plaza has ample parking. The sweet, nice lady (brunette with glasses) helped me carry my food order to my car. She was absolutely lovely. The signature piri piri sauce is a MUST, absolutely delicious. The chicken was moist and juicy. The rice was buttery and tasty. The potatoes and macaroni salad were my favourites. I can honestly rave about this place time and time again because they never disappoint and the consistency is fantastic. I really love ordering food from here for parties because its tasty, easy, great price and everyone loves it. The service is so friendly and kind. Thanks so much for being so amazing!
I picked up food for Evergreen Retirement Community staff, as it’s a very popular choice. The staff at Mario’s are attentive, kind and swift when it came to preparing the food and drinks. Two members helped place the food securely into my car as I had ordered large platters for 25 people. I’ve purchased food from this location multiple times over the years as the service is consistently excellent. The grilled chicken is perfect; flavourful, juicy and has the right amount of crispiness. Potatoes and rice are delicious and filling and would not change a thing about it. Having been to many Portuguese restaurants in the GTA and having visited Portugal, I’d say Mario’s BBQ has the best chicken! The staff and management team at Evergreen thank you!
The food there is always amazing, not to mention the service. I’m pregnant and was craving for a “bacalhau de natas” (codfish). I called them and 40 minutes later it was ready for pick up and absolutely delicious. Can’t never get tired of ordering take out at this location. THANK YOU!
Will definitely be coming back! We were celebrating a birthday and had a lot of mouths to feed and absolutely NO one was disappointed. The potatoes and fish were specifically a great hit (people who "never eat fish" were going to town). The large order was stress free - I got there 15 minutes before I was supposed to and everything was ready. The lady and gentleman there were very kind and helped me get the platters in the car. Thank you SO much.

I ordered a large quantity of food for a 90th birthday celebration last minute and it was ready in 20 minutes. Extremely satisfied with the quality and lots of flavour. Highly recommend! 5 star
